In the first years, before Tiago Sammael took charge of the vocals, the band has been suffering with constant vocalist changes and kept on experimenting with many extreme styles and influences culminating with the current brutal death metal style with a very strong technical vein.

The band has many influences, from prog metal to extreme death metal, having Necrophagist, Decapitated, Death and Cannibal Corpse among its main inspirations. Since then, Pervencer is increasingly featuring on many split albums, fanzines, web radios and public appearances, even performing alongside with the brazilian thrash metal band Torture Squad.
